Lilly's little lamb and 28.

Lilly had a little lamb... little lamb...little lamb...

and everywhere that Lilly went that lamb was sure to go.

Miss Lillian has been attached to this 'little people' lamb lately... she even brought her to lunch with us today...its kinda cute:)

Really hoping to get rid of these stinkin' binkies soon! they ruin the picture!

Well, I thought I would start with the cuteness first that way you don't have to continue reading :)

I turn 28 tomorrow. It's funny, every year I think I will feel different or I will BE different, and every year I am still me... guess I am still thinking that somewhere a long the way I will become a different self....but nope.. me, myself and I ... still here. still. ME.

Today was a good day. Good conversation with the hubby. Two cute twirly birds that melt my heart with everything that comes out of their mouth... especially that little HONK they do when they laugh. Good lunch. A peanut butter rice crispy treat with chocolate frosting.A little bit of alone time. Just a general feeling of being Happy, content, not stressed or sad or worried. Just calm, mellow, relaxed. Oh, how I love that feeling... I haven't had it for a very , very LONG time. God is good.

We're Ready!

for :
Our house is all decorated!
Our Easter baskets are ready.

Now HURRY UP SPRING!

I enjoy decorating my house for the Holidays, but this year I haven't had the time or just haven't wanted to. The twirly birds get into pretty much everything, but I have spring fever and needed to do something. So I got out all of my Easter decorations and got busy while the girls were napping.
This has been a great day! I went for my very first facial this morning..it was so relaxing! - more relaxing and less calories than the pan of brownines I have been binging on the last two days... why no- I haven't ate 3/4 of the pan all by myself... silly. Anyway....if facials weren't so expensive I could really get used to them...I think the Government should provide everymother a free day at the Spa every month. I mean imagine all the money we would save on anti-psychotic medications, not to mention the decrease in mental breakdowns. ;)
I have been working on laundry all day... sad to say there are at least 3 baskets to be folded or ironed and put away... but the day isn't over yet.
So far the positives AHEM I mean BLESSINGS this week are:
Brownies, Bible studies, Facials, nap time, Mickey Mouse Club House, sisters that confirm that being "that mom" is normal, my twirly birds that HONK instead of laugh, great friends that help you look for a new sitter, Prayers, EASTER DECOR, people that you didn't even know were your friends, the LIKE button on FB and JESUS !

Life is like lucky charms....

... ALL is well until you run out of the marshmallows.

Yep it's me. no pictures. just me rambling. Why yes I did start another personal blog. Nope I do not like it. SO here I am.read it or don't :)

I had a revelation tonight. I am totally that mom that I swore to myself I would never be. You know the one. She always looks disheveled and a little crazed by lack of sleep and crazy hair, blurting out her life drama when you first meet her. YUP totally me tonight. Yes my life has been a little INSANE the last ohhh... 27 years... but reallly the last few weeks. Sick kiddos, sick mommy, sick daddy. work conflicts, home repairs, not nice coworkers, patients that you JUST CANNOT do enough for. What? I am rambling again? *blush*
AAAAny way...met up with my 3 lovely friends tonight... and #1 I was late. Because I was obsessing about child care and the series of UNFORTUNATE events of the day, because Joelle wanted to be carried around, because Lillian wanted MORE lucky charms, because Joelle and Lillian both. spilled. lucky charms. clean up... there I go again. #2 As I am driving to friends house in another town I am again in my mind..obsessing over the events of the day at work etc... and I did not realize that the speed limit SUDDENLY CHANGED from 60......to 25 or was it 30??*blush** SO as I pop over the hill and hit my breaks... there is a car with pretty blue and red lights that decides to flash me so I will pull over to "chat" *blush** nice man in uniform was gracious. Maybe it was the unkempt sleep deprived look I had or the hacky cough or voice of a 100 yr smoker?? or the screaming child or ... who knows ? BuT I DO know that going 58 in a 25...30 mph zone...is not a pretty ticket... thank goodness I didn't get to see what that looked like!
In my mind I am thinking... my friends are going to see me and this stuff only happens to TS(me).
#3... go to friends house... 30 minutes late by now??? I am crazed and I burst into the door....carrying both toddlers, lucky charms, diaperbag and blankies... and say " if anything else happens today I am going to be put in a mental institution" YUP sign. me. up. I am officially THAT mom... My friends get quiet and say... Did you get pulled over??? yes, they saw me :( I say yes...then we try to change the conversation and the whole time I am thinking what A MESS I am. *blush* Thank goodness they are kind gracious Godly women... because otherwise... I may have had a melt down. But I am proud to report I didn't cry... ok... thats a lie. I only cried for 2.5 minutes in my car because I was thinking my friends might think I am crazy but then a little voice said. " Tabitha, you are human, you are trying and this. is. LIFE. Get it together. So I did. I am back to feeling positive again... and hopefully I will never see THAT mom again...ya know someone should really check in on her... ;0)

SO here it is ... my list of positives for the week!
70 degrees. Sunshine. carwash. new strollers. SISTERS. round 2 of antibiotic. counselors. Jesus. FRIENDS. dinner. child care. feelings of PEACE. my positive attitude. not crying at work. self revelations. prayer. The Upper Room. Dishwashers. Reese's EGGS. laughter. blogging and ofcourse..... LUCKY CHARMS :)

Momma got new wheels!

but... unfortunately it's not a car, but I wouldn't mind getting a new one of those too :). Its a STROLLER! But the 3 of us are really excited about it!
The girlies turned 17 months and it is getting harder and harder to take their picture together.
Snack time on our couch.

Our new ride! I've been wanting a couple of new strollers. I know. It sounds crazy but really... as a twin mom you need more than one for different occasions. I have one duo glider... its heavy... but good for the mall and narrow places. Our new Combi is for quick trips and vacation because it is easier to unfold and light weight. I hope to get a jogging stroller in the near future but it is on the REALLY expensive side so we'll see.

The twirly birds really like it I was pushing them around in our tiny..tiny house and they liked the few steps we took. It's a keeper! All I had to do to put it together was add two wheels!

life lessons and TTMT on Wednesday.

Our last Christmas present finally came. The girls love it and have a lot of fun playing on their new sofa.

I've been neglecting blog world because we have been busy and life has had a lot of bumps the last few weeks. Work conflicts, sickness, sadness, anger , acceptance, lessons and Jesus.

I am not going to go into detail about anything because I am tired of talking about the issue. I am just going to say, I stood up for myself for maybe the first time...ever. It did not go as planned and I ended up hurting more inside BUT I know God was behind it every step of the way and I know its his plan and that he is preparing me for BIG THINGS. I once heard Oprah say that she "just knew" she would do "something great". While I can't say that I know it's something "Great" I can say I know its something.

Moving on. The girls are sick, I have been sick and it is just plain rotten here. I am ready for spring like everyone else in the Midwest., but I am going to move towards the positive. SO I am joining Hickstionary's TTMT on Wednesday.
What would make my Awesome list for the week:
